The Hunter
“The Hunter” is a painting about struggle in a world changing beyond the jaguar’s control. He is a survivor and hunter in search of his bare necessities. He treads on searching and finding, determined to go on. All of nature is trying to cope with man’s increasing need to destroy the natural world for his own selfish gain. What must God think?
We too, are faced with a world that seems out of control. Wickedness and evil surround us. We must stand strong and not waver, trusting and living by the Word of Almighty God. We must be determined to follow His ways and to do His will. The Bible tells us in I John 2:15-17: “ Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the     Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof; but he that doeth the will of God abideth forever.”
